Former National Security Guard commando Lucky Bisht predicted the fall of Nepal's new government.
No, the viral from December 2024 is shared without context.
A video allegedly showing former National Security Guard (NSG) commando Lucky Singh Bisht predicting that Nepal’s new government is going to fall soon has gone viral on TikTok.
TikTok user @manoj.shrestha2034 posted a 45-second video of Lucky Bisht on record. In the video, Bisht says, “Nepal’s government is going to fall that was formed two months ago. I am telling you this sir, today is the 12th of this month right. You will find it shocking. In the next few days you hear the news that Nepal’s government is going to fall. Once I leave here you will find it hard to believe what I said here. Please note it down that within the next 10-15 days Nepal’s government that was formed only two months ago will fall.” The tail end of the video shows an unrelated clip of Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman and member of parliament Harka Sampang dancing at an event.
Text superimposed on the video reads, “Nepal’s government is going to fall: Ex RAW agent.”

The video posted on May 25 garnered 6755 likes, 1815 users have shared it and 194 people have commented until the last count.
Newschecker found the claim to be misleading.
To check the veracity of the claim, Newschecker took several key-frames from the viral video and ran reverse searches on them. A Google reverse search on a frame led us to a video, dated Dec 16, 2024, posted on a widely followed Facebook page named In-Depth Story. On checking the video, we found that the first 26-second exactly matched the viral video.

We also came across another exact same video, dated December 16, 2024, posted by a Facebook account named Dibesh Sapkota. We noticed a logo of NBT on the top right corner of the video.
Further, we found another fact-check video, dated Sept 11, 2025, posted on the YouTube Channel of Navbharat Times. The video debunked the misinformation that Bisht made the prediction just a month before the fall of KP Oli government after Gen Z revolt in Nepal. The video clarified that an excerpt of an interview, posted originally on the channel on December 13, 2024, went viral in Nepal in a misleading manner.
Thus, our findings clearly indicated that Lucky Bisht has not made any prediction about the new government of Nepal. The video claiming to show Bisht’s recent prediction has resurfaced without context.
No, ex-NSG commando Bisht has not made any prediction about the fall of the new government in Nepal. The old clip from December 2024 was shared without context. Thus, the claim is misleading.
