A viral TikTok clip claims that the results of the grade 12 examination have been published. The National Examination Board had conducted the exams of class 12 from May 4 to May 16 earlier this year.
TikTok user @raznabin3 posted a video captured from a moving vehicle. Audio accompanying the video presented in a news bulletin style says, “The results grade 12 board exam has been published. This year 188410 students were categorized as non-graded, according to the National Examination Board.” Text superimposed on the video reads, “Breaking news, 75 percent of the students have passed and 25 percent have failed.”
The video posted on July 8 has garnered 6039 likes, 682 users have shared it and 166 people have commented until the last count.

To check the veracity of the claim, Newschecker searched for the news regarding the results of grade 12 including the website of National Examination Board. However, the search didn’t yield any relevant results.
We then ran a key-phrase search on Google by using clues from the viral video. The search led us to an article, dated Sept 2, 2022, published on Attariyanews online. On checking the article, we found that the number of non-graded students matched the report of the viral clip. This indicated that the news was from September 2022.
Taking a clue from it, we ran a search on YouTube by using several keywords and found a video, dated Sept 2, 2022, published on the YouTube channel of News 24 Television. On checking the video, we found that the footage from 1:43-minute onwards exactly matched the viral clip.
A total of 511,525 students sat for the exams held from May 4 to May 16. Of the total examinees, 395,908 were under the regular category while 115,617 were partial examinees.
Thus, our findings clearly showed that the viral news clip is from September 2022.
No, the National Education Board has not published the result of Grade 12. The viral news clip is from 2022.
